There is an active angling association in Caersws. This association controls
a 7 mile stretch of double bank fishing for salmon, trout and grayling. Click

Walking
Should you prefer a more "leisurely stroll", a walk along the banks
of the adjacent River Severn would fit the bill perfectly.
However, for the more energetic, within a couple of miles lie some of the
most breathtaking scenery in the country.
Talk to the locals here for a route to fit all preferences. You will find
a map in the bar showing routes "off the beaten track".
